Chapter 2 - SkyDiving

So I have made it offical. I will jumping from between 10,000 and 15,000 feet on May 24th just over the state line in Ohio. Yes I will be Skydiving. This is new to me and the idea really only popped into my head last week. Just woke up one day and said I am going to Skydive. No real thought process or even fear has crept into my mind. I am just going to do it, No regrets and no fear is my new motto.

Like what all most posts will be centered around is that life is to short to worry about the small things.

So wish me luck and I will have a DVD made to share if anybody is interested.

Chapter 1 - Dreams

Dreams in general is something that I think drives us, keeps us going. When things are bad in our lives we still hold on to that glimmer of hope and strive each day to make our dreams come true.
Growing up we are always dreaming of what we want to be when we grow up, what we want to do and where we want to go. We may have long lists of stuff to accomplish or just one or two items. All I can say is if you ever have the chance to follow that dream, by all means do it. Don't let a NO or I CAN'T get in the way. You can never be afraid of failing and in the end have no regrets.
Below you will find my top ten list. They are in no particular order of preference, but they are things that I would love to look back on when I get older and say "hey, I did that"
Sky Dive
Run a Marathon
Climb Mt. Everest
Obtain my Masters Degree
Become one of the 140 people so far to summit the highest peak on each of the 7 continents
Move back East and eventually live in a foreign country
eventually would like to work in the sports field
Start a family
Visit every NBA Arena
Open up my Soup and Cereal Bar
So this is my list, and I am sure it will change, as we are always changing. Some stuff I have done already, most have the potential to kill me. But that is a risk I am willing to take.
I moved to Pittsburgh, a big jump that I am sure most people do not get why.. But ever since I was 12 and my family went on a trip through the Eastern seaboard I have known that at some point in time I wanted to move out here. Now Pittsburgh is not the coast but it is a start and we all need starting places. It was a leap of faith, not knowing anything about this city or no knowing anyone. I moved 3,000 miles to a place where I suddenly found myself all alone, my actions may have caused me a really great relationship, may never know. But you can't be afraid of the what ifs in life. If we were afraid then we may never try something new. The move has turned out in a positive way and feel very fortunate.
This is sort of a life list, because as we know it is to short sometimes. I encourage whomever may read this to make a list and do your best to follow through, you would be surprised what you can accomplish if you set your mind to it. Just don't be afraid if you fail the first time, just pick yourself up, dust yourself off and try it again. I plan on Sky Diving here shortly and am planning a trip to Vegas because I have never been and I want to Bungee Jump in front of Circus Circus
The other ideas and dreams are ones I have had for a long time. Climbing Mt. Everest and opening up my Soup and Cereal Bar have stuck with me since HS. They are just more items to check off my list, stuff I can look back on and know that what I set out to do I finished.
I wish everyone the best of luck, and say follow your dreams, whatever they may be. Life is to short to worry about the small stuff.
Until next time.. goodnight and Godspeed

Section I

This is my first post. The idea behind this blog is I wanted a place where I can post my thoughts about life, people and what we go through on a daily basis.

The idea behind all of this is I wanted to write a book, now if it will ever get published that is up in the air but one can hope. Not sure how the book will turn out but the tile as you can tell is "Life is to short to waste" because really it is. So feel free to read along, comment both positive and negative are fine.

I hope you enjoy this.

Thank You
